Jon Carroll has an entertaining piece in today's San Francisco Chronicle about how journalists in general are well-intentioned, hard-working and, as humans, fallible. No problem with most of his points but I sure wish he hadn't lumped Mitch Albom's missteps along with examples of more innocent mistakes.
